Have you learnt pottery but do not have access to a dedicated space to practice your craft and hone your skills? You are at the right place. Wheel of clay is introducing Studio Time for experienced potters and existing learners who can work independently with out an instructor. Wheel of clay is a fully equipped studio, with electric wheels, an electric kiln, glazes from Amaco and Sam Mui Kuang Pottery, tools, a slab roller and a gallery with works from ceramic artists at The Other Potters, to inspire your creativity. This package also applies to clay enthusiasts who want to use the studio facilities for just glazing and firing the pieces that they have created using their own clay/wheel.

The package includes :

  • 5 sessions X 3 hours each, valid for 10 weeks from the start date. 
  • Days the slots can be booked : Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday Mornings.
  • Firing charges extra, applicable at sgd 3 per 100 gms, (weight of the trimmed product).

  • Potter's wheel
  • Banding Wheels
  • Slab Roller for hand building
  • Work tables and Wedging tables
  • Studio Clays, Slips and other materials
  • Shared pottery tools
  • Studio glazes
  • Use of pantry area
  • Reading material.

Terms and Conditions :

  • First time users need to attend a 10 minutes orientation walk, to familiarize themselves with the studio setup and do's and don'ts.
  • Studio conduct and safety rules and regulations apply.
  • Access to the studio is during operational hours only. ( 9.30 am to 4 pm weekdays and 9.30 am to 12.30 pm on Saturday.)
  • Prior booking of equipment and time slots is required.
  • Package to be completed within the stipulated time
  • Strictly no extension or refund of unused sessions after expiry.
  • Studio reserves the right to discontinue Studio package in the event of misuse of studio facilities and outright disregard for studio rules and regulations or safety.
